The plaque reads:
MAHATMA GANDHI WORLD PEACE MEMORIAL
Dedicated to world Brotherhood on August 20, 1950
by Paramahansa Yogananda and Lt. Gov. Goodwin Knight.
The memorial contains a portion of the ashes of
Mahatma Gandhi

  2. I didn't know about this. That's awesome. Thanks for sharing. "Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu" translates roughly to "May the Lord grant peace and goodwill to all mankind". Namaste.
