Pink Ribbons, completed original rose painting and 100th post!

Here is my completed version of Pink Ribbons, an original 18"x24" rose painting on canvas. It is based on a flower I photographed in my grandparents' garden. They always gave to me so much in seeing beauty in some of the smallest things. I wanted in some small way to honor them as well. This rose is somewhere between budding and blooming.

Also this is my 100th post! I've really come to enjoy blogging and reading people's blogs. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
