Wordless Wednesday: Shinto Lantern



I love to visit the Japanese section of Descanso Gardens.  I have on more than one occasion photographed stone shinto lanterns, but it was only today that I learned what they are called...

  5. Thank you! It is a lovely section to visit. There's a tea shop (although that hasn't been open the most recent times I visited), a beautiful bridge, and some koi fish...
