A Start to My Peace Lilies Painting...

Here is a very early stages work in progress photo of a painting I've just started of some peace lilies.  The canvas is actually a 12"x12" square, but the angle of my photograph is off...

Also, I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday.  To see more participants, please visit:

  9. Thanks very much! I first saw a peace lily on another person's blog, and I knew I wanted to paint one at some point. Then I was looking at this square canvas and realized I wanted a trio of peace lilies... I'm glad you like mine so far.

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
