A Continuation of Progress on My Peace Lilies...
I spent some time this week working on my peace lily flower painting. I think it's fairly close to being done now, but I may be speaking too soon, sometimes issues arrive in what I think might be the final moments when I'm actually nowhere near there... I intend to play with the stamens a little bit and well, of course, paint the stems. There are also some transitions that I may soften or leave as is, but that depends on the feel after I've addressed the stems and the stamens...
Anyway, I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday. To see more participants, please visit:

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...

ReplyDeleteThis is such a good painting. Difficult to paint White flowers, but you have the tones in these flowers just right.
ReplyDeleteBeautifl, soft and sensual! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so very much for your lovely and thoughtful comments!
ReplyDeleteLovely peace lily. I never liked to grow them because they always ended up looking - not so good. That is a very lovely painting - if my plants had looked like that I would still have them!!! HPPF

Your lilies are gorgeous! Elegant and flowing... I think I'd need a magnifying glass to see if they need more work... they look great now.
