Oak Tree Original Painting Work in Progress...

Here is a work in progress image of my oak tree painting.  I'm a little bit farther along then this, but I thought it would be fun to post it with just the sky and some of the leaves since in my sketch all it was was the trunks and branches...  I'm hoping to get this done by tomorrow for Nibblefest.

Anyway, I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday.  To see more participants, please visit:

  5. I love the painting and love the way you left all those negative spaces to fill in. I always try to paint trees the other way - even tho I've been told to try that way. Hope to see it in it's finished state soon. HPPF

  10. Interesting perspective Stacy, I never thought of having them be white trees! I had already painted them brown by the time I read your intriguing comment though...

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
