An Original Painting of Sweet Pea Flowers, a Trio of Anthuriums Art Print, and more Prints!

My featured print auction for the week is on ebay here.  It is titled "Bright Triad" and is of three red anthuriums.  I also have additional art prints here.  They're all based on my original paintings with a theme of flowers and are starting today and ending next Tuesday.

They are "Alegria" a pink rose and rose bud, "Budding Blooms" some sweet pea blossoms, "Elegance" pink saucer magnolias, "Enchanted Light" a white magnolia, "Eternal" a bird of paradise, "Heart's Wish" some pale yellow orchids with a crimson core,  "Intensity" a purple calla lily, and "Joyous Duet" two deep red anthurium flowers...

Hummingbird's Perfect Perch Photo...

I took this photo from the window of my old home, the window faced out from where the sink was to some aloe vera plants that the hummingbirds loved.  It took me a while to finally figure out I needed a camera there, just in case, at all times.  Initially, I tried to open the door and photograph them, but they were far too fast for me...  I was able to get some shots through the window though.  This hummingbird found a very energy efficient way to dine!

A Violet Fairy Original Painting, a Purple Hummingbird Art Print, and more Prints!

My featured print auction for the week is on ebay here.  It is titled "Violet" and is of a purple hummingbird by some sunflowers.  I also have additional art prints here.  They're all based on my original paintings with a theme of winged friends and are starting today and ending next Tuesday.

Here's a sketch of a hummingbird at a coneflower...  While I liked this one I decided I liked the drawing of Henri better when I was deciding which one to paint.  Henri has flown home, so I will be listing him tomorrow as a five day auction for Nibblefest...

Here's a little sketch of a hummingbird.  I may or may not be working on a painting based on this drawing of this little bird this week.  His name is Henri, but that probably won't be the title of the painting.  When I'm working on things I sometimes have a working title that I use to refer to the painting as until it gets its official title...

Almost Complete Mermaid by a Cathedral Painting...

Here she is, almost complete, all she needs is a bit of atmosphere to give her the feeling of being underwater.  I actually have finished her to take to the show next Saturday, but I want to wait to share my final image until then.

A Photo of a Praying Mantis on the Edge of my Door...

It has been a while since I've shared a photo that I've taken.  This photograph is of a praying mantis on the edge of my door at my prior residence.  For some reason he was very determined to get in!  Eventually I was able to persuade him to leave the edge of the door so I was able to shut it with him safely outside though...

I'm sorry I haven't been posting or visiting much lately, I've been having a hard time with the heat...  Today feels a little bit better though, I'm hoping the rest of the week will be too!  This week the only theme I have is the alphabet, in a manner of speaking.  I made some changes to my art print template and I haven't made it through all of them yet, so I decided to start at the top and work my way down...
