Happy Halloween 2013 & Cardinal Bird Work in Progress...

This year I didn't do much in the way of decorating, but I did go to Marceline's Confectionery at Downtown Disney.  They had all sorts of delectable Halloween treats!  I hope you'll enjoy my pictures of them and that your Halloween is filled with lots of wonderful treats!

A little birdie told me it was possible to do an entire painting entirely without blue...  I'm skeptical, but we shall see.  Here a work in progress view of a cardinal bird that I am painting.

  1. Love the look of all those Halloween treats. I hope you got to try some. A painting without blue....that would be a challenge indeed :)

  2. I think I would have one of each because they look so goooood and halloweenish, yum and i love the store thank God it's far away, lol and you're drawing that beautiful little cardinal...and if you need blue but can't use it, just look at the sky get your blue, and continue and if could have bought one of the above mentionned goodies I'd say go for it oh yes, for breakfast, it's so wonderful Lisa Isabella

  3. Oh my goodness, such goodies at that Confectionery, I would have been in heaven there as I have a 'sweet tooth'
    Great shots.
I had a wonderful Halloween and the best 'Treat' was going Trick-or-treating with my granddaughter Rose, she was enchanting.

I love cardinals and look forward to seeing the finished result on this one.

    Have a great weekend, Lisa.
