Seahorses Painting Work in Progress, the Start of the Seaweed...
Here is a work in progress view of two seahorses that I am painting. I've started painting the seaweed. I still have quite a ways to go on the seaweed before I'm done, there's a bunch of it to the right of the seahorses. I won't decide if I'm keeping the seaweed or painting over it until I'm done painting the seahorses...

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
Love the amount of detail and can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteThe background colour is magnificent as are your sea horses do you know what colour you'll paint them? If seaweed is sort of yellowish I had a sudden desire to see silver seahorses if the background had been any other colour i would have loved to see aquamarine sea horses lol but sweetie, it's your call and it will be stunning, that much I know ahhh such magic you draw, magic makes me smile
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I love how they're entwined together. :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!! Love the background color!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Erika, Lorraine, SLScheibe, and Stacy! Lorraine, you are so sweet! In my reference they're whitish with brown spots. I'm going to try that first on part of one of them, and then if that doesn't work for me, I can scan it into the computer and try different color options before I paint any more. A lot depends on how it looks once the seaweed is finished, I have quite a ways to go with the seaweed...
