Here is a work in progress view of a 5"x7" seahorse painting. I've painted the background and decided on how to paint the tendrils. The reason I decided to paint this little painting was to figure out if I wanted to do them with drips or paint them on with a brush for my larger mermaid with seahorse friends painting that I am working on. Although both options were appealing, I've decided to use a brush. I'm going to finish this painting in the same hues I'd like to paint the other ones with, I imagine this seahorse is friends with the other seahorses...

I love the seahorse. Our pastor showed us one today that someone in Peru had given him (while our mission team was down there painting a church). I think it's funny that I should sit down at the computer and the first thing I come to is your amazing seahorse. (Not sure if the pastor's seahorse was real and dried up or a fake one!) Anyway, I think it will be an outstanding painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks so very much for all of the kind words! They are much appreciated. I love seahorses and fairies!
