Buddha Sculpture at the Norton Simon Museum of Art + Big Eye Angel Fairy Face 16...

If you go downstairs at the Norton Simon Museum of Art, this Buddha sculpture is visible from one of their windows.  There is a huge window and there is a bench in front of it.  I took this photograph from that bench.  Also in view are some of their other pieces, it is an inspiring place to sit and reflect.  It's usually less crowded there than in the upstairs gallery and it is very worth seeing, it is one of my favorite places at the Norton Simon.

This is face 16 for the 29 faces September challenge.  She is a big eye angel fairy or possibly mermaid sketch.  I think she is a bit sassy.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces during the given month.

  1. I like her necklace too. That place with the Buddha is very zen and restful looking.

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
