Work in Progress Little Owl (Athene noctua) Painting + Face 27 for 29 Faces...



Here is a work in progress view of my little owl (Athene noctua) painting.  I've really just begun at this point.  This is one of the owls I sketched while I was looking for the right one for my Athena (Minerva) painting and while he wasn't quite right for that one, I decided to paint him solo.  I think he is a sibling of Athena's owl...

This is face 26 for the 29 faces September challenge.  She is a big eye fairy angel or possibly mermaid sketch.  I think she has an angelic combination of strength and gentleness.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces during the given month.

  6. Oh sweetie, that owl is so sweet and that drawing of this woman is breathtaking, there is something, something in her eyes that I've never seen before, but that thoroughly amazing...then again when aren't you SUPERB
