A Photograph of a Cloudy Sky and Some Palm Trees Outside of my Home...


I'm looking at photographs of the sky for a background for my Athena and Owlie painting.  I took this photograph outside of my home, obviously I wouldn't use the palm trees or the telephone line, but I thought it was a pretty scene and the clouds have potential.  I hope you will enjoy this photo...

    The clouds are beautiful, I like the subtleness. I can see that as a background.

    yes the sky is a delight indeed, is there anything you can't do, seriously, awesome photo i can see why you'd look at those shades as possibilities, unfortunately it's rare you can get rid of power line, i wish one photography process would provide a simple eraser, surely CS3 or 4 should have that option, I'll have to check it out lol

    Thanks so much Carol, Christine, Carola, and Lorraine! Lorraine you are so sweet, the beautiful thing about using photos for reference is that I don't have to paint the power line if I use it, I'm sure there's a way to get rid of it in photoshop, but it would take some doing...
