Here is a work in progress view of my big eye Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead painting. I'm pretty much happy with the eyes, but I have more work to do on her neck and shoulders. Even when I've worked with the shading a bit, I'm not sure if she needs something more there; maybe a bit of her blouse, a necklace, possibly a tatttoo. Or the possibility exists that when I've entirely finished with the rest of the painting, she may not need anything at all, so I'll wait until later to decide for certain. I can put her into photoshop and pre visualize the options when I'm further along...

Born of Egypt, this big eye fairy has exotic eye make up and a beautiful Ankh. Her wings are translucent and beautiful, she has a dreamlike surrealist quality. I sold the original, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!
Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!
