Here is a rough sketch that I did of a big eye fairy angel or possibly a mermaid.  I think she has very bright, friendly eyes...  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  She is face 28 for the 29 faces challenge in February.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

Here is a second sketch that I did of this big eye fairy angel, I'd like to paint her, but I think I have a little more work to do with the sketch first.  She has tiny little flowers in her hair and a slightly wild quality.  She is face 29 for the 29 faces challenge in February.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February.  If I get a chance to do so for tomorrow, I'll group all of them together.

In this work in progress of my big eye angel fairy, I've worked on her face and features.  At this stage in the WIP, I think it's possible I'll have her finished on time to share her on Tuesday.  I'm looking forward to painting her hair.  It will be a very light blue in color, I've yet to paint light blue hair...

I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens some time ago of these pink and white tulips.  It isn't yet time for them to bloom, but I have tulips on the mind this week...  I'm trying to select one for one of my big eye fairy flower guardians, but there are so many wonderful options.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I am listing "Interlaced," an original painting of a red orange and yellow tulip.  This flower is vibrant and warm...  It has an impressionist realist feel.  I'm still working on my angel painting, but I realized that although I painted this quite some time ago, I don't think I've shared this piece here or at auction before...

I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens some time ago.  I'm not sure what type of flower these beautiful yellow blossoms are, but I thought they were warm and lovely...  There's also a darling little honey bee in the top left corner.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

"Uh oh, you see me..." this little brown bird with the long beak in this photograph seems to say.  One day I spotted this bird with another one below the roses at Descanso Gardens.  I believe they are called California Thrashers.  Although I've visited Descanso Gardens many times, I have only spotted them the one time, I think they are very good at hiding indeed...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I took this photograph of a tiny white butterfly at Huntington Gardens a while back.  It flitted about so quickly, I didn't have a chance to get a shot of it with its wings open, but I still think the butterfly is quite beautiful.  I also liked the way the light was hitting the leaf.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!
