My Photograph of a White Butterfly at Huntington Gardens + 29 Faces, Face 4...

I took this photograph of a tiny white butterfly at Huntington Gardens a while back.  It flitted about so quickly, I didn't have a chance to get a shot of it with its wings open, but I still think the butterfly is quite beautiful.  I also liked the way the light was hitting the leaf.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

Here is a rough sketch that I did of a big eye angel fairy.  I think she has a wonderful quality with her upwards gaze.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  She is face 4 for the 29 faces challenge in February.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

  3. Hello Lisa, greetings and good wishes.

The photo of the white butterfly and the light dazzling on the leaf makes a fabulous photo.

Once I tied to take a photo of a butterfly and I had to shoot many, many times to get a still butterfly. Only when it was sucking honey from a flower it became still because it concentrating on sucking the honey.

The sketch of the big eyed angel fairy is excellent. She is very charming and her eyes and the way she looks have a magnetic attraction.

    Best wishes
