Athena Minerva Helmets Thumbnails Sketch Art + Red Rose Website Update...

Here are some sketches of possible helmets for my small Athena Greek goddess (known to the Romans as Minerva).  These little thumbnails are just rough doodles to explore possibilities, I've based them off of various helmets on statues.  I'm leaning towards one of the top three, I think painting the mane will be fun...

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

"Corazon" Original Painting NFS
Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

I painted this piece quite some time ago.  It is a red and burgundy rose in full bloom...  Corazon means heart in Spanish.  I painted it at a time when I wanted to transform how I was feeling and creating this was very much a reflection of that.  The piece has a bold realist impressionist feel.  The original is not for sale, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
