Fairy Angel Big Eye Gothic Sketch Art + Anthurium Flowers Duet Website Update...

Here is a work in progress sketch of a big eye maiden that I have been refining to paint.  She is a fairy angel with flowers in her hair, I believe her dress will also be made of flower petals.  I've sketched her at least two or three times, sometimes it takes me a while to get the sketch down.  I feel that if I'm not happy with the lineart wip, I shouldn't go any further until I am.  I'm mostly happy at this point, I might want to play with the placement of the flowers in her hair, but for the most part I think I'm almost ready to move forward with this one.

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

"Joyeous Duet" Original 18"x24" Painting, Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

"Joyous Duet" is a one of my large floral paintings.  It is of two anthurium flowers.  They are a rich burgundy red and seem to be together in a state of joy.  It has a soft realist feel.  This piece is available as an original, as prints, and Limited Edition ACEOs!

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
