Here is a work in progress view of my 11"x14" original angel fairy painting. Now I feel her face is closer to the very pale look that I am going for this angelic gothic fae, but her neck is a bit too cool in tone. So, back to the drawing board, or in this case the painting board...
I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday. To see more participants, please visit:
"Sakura Ichi" Original 5"x7" Painting, Open Edition 5"x7" Giclee Prints, & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here
Edit: Original painting now sold, thanks so much C!
"Sakura Ichi" is a one of my floral paintings. It is the first in my series of cherry blossom paintings. I've made a slight change to the pistils, they're a little bit lighter in color, since I listed this piece a couple of weeks ago. I sometimes see a way to improve the art after I initially thought it was complete and I feel that is the case with these spring flowers. It's a subtle change, but I feel they now have a more delicate feel. This piece is available as prints and Limited Edition ACEOs!
My website at http://www.lisarusso.com has more art available, including additional flower art in the floral art section!
Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!
Lovely pieces...the first is coming along nicely.
