WIP Snub Nosed Monkey Animal Art Original Painting Work in Progress...

In this original acrylic work in progress monkey painting, I've done some work on the background.  This golden snub nosed monkey wip is being painted in honor of Chinese New Year, this year it is year of the monkey.  Although it really doesn't take much to inspire me to paint an animal, I think animals are wonderful!

This is a work in progress, but I also usually post at least one finished piece on Tuesdays if you'd like to come to visit!  You also may see some of my finished paintings at http://www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday.  To see more participants, please visit:

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
