My Photograph of a Francois' Langur Monkey at the Los Angeles Zoo + 29 Faces Sketch Art, Face 10...

Gong Hey Fat Choy!  Happy Chinese New Year and I hope the year of the monkey will be a splendid one!  I took this photograph of a Francois' Langur monkey at the Los Angeles Zoo quite some time ago.  I thought about using this one for my zodiac monkey painting, but I wanted to focus more on a face.  He was definitely a cutey though!  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I love to paint animals, you may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  I think she has a sweet and thoughtful quality...  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.   I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

She is face 10 for 29 faces in February.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.
