My Photograph of Pink Saucer Magnolia Flowers at Huntington Gardens + 29 Faces Sketch Art, Face 17...

I took this photograph of this Brozzonii Saucer Magnolia flower at Huntington Gardens during my most recent visit.  The tree was filled with gorgeous blossoms, I think I could have spent some serious time photographing just this one tree if it weren't for closing time approaching!  There's so much to see there...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I love to paint flowers, you may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She has a deep sadness, but also hope.  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.  I would like to paint her, this is a second sketch of her, which isn't completely there, but I think is closer to where I'd like to be with her.

She is face 17 for 29 faces in February.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like
