My Photograph of White Icelandic Flowers at Descanso Gardens + 29 Faces Sketch Art, Face 3...

I took this photograph of white icelandic poppies at Descanso Gardens quite some time ago.  I love how these flowers seem to dance and sway with the gentlest of breezes.  Also I feel that their buds are just lovely.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I love to paint flowers, you may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  Her head is crowned with leaves and her eyes are closed as light filters through the forest to kiss her face.  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be an mermaid or a goddess.   I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

She is face 3 for 29 faces in February.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.
