Art Sketch of a Butterfly + Gothic Latina Fairy Angel Original Painting Website Update...

Here is a sketch of a butterfly.  I believe this yellow and black beauty is a Swallowtail, but I'm not sure.  It has paused to drink the nectar of a flower.  I'm unsure if I'll paint it or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in March.  This is sketch 3.

This is a rough sketch.

New Art on my website in the fantasy art section here!

"Estrella" Original 6"x6.5" Framed Painting, Open Edition 5"x7" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

"Estrella" is my newest addition to my website.  The original acrylic painting on acid free vellum paper is framed.  This big eye Gothic Latina fairy angel has purple streaks running through her hair and big brown eyes.  The art has a surreal fantasy lowbrow feel.

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

  1. Wonderful butterfly, Lisa. I don't think I've seen you sketch anything along these lines and love it. It's fabulous. :)

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
