My Photograph of Daffodil Flowers at Descanso Gardens + April Sketches Art, Day 13, Angel Fairy...

I took this photograph of these daffodils at Descanso Gardens a past year, although the last time I visited there were a number of these beautiful narcissus blooming.  I'm not sure how long these flowers bloom though, I love the soft variations in color, these are a soft white accented with a gentle peach.  I don't think I've ever painted one, I think I'd like to add them to my painting wish list.  It's quite a long list, so for now, some of my archived beauties...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I love to paint flowers, you may see some of my finished paintings at www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She seems to be giving a wary over the shoulder glance...  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in April.  This is day 13.

This is a rough sketch.
