Happy Father's Day & Sketch of a Big Eye Gothic Fairy Angel, June 19, Art Sketches Daily...

Happy Father's Day wishes from me at www.lisarusso.com.

My dad loves the ocean, so that is why I have chosen this painting for this day...

"Reminders" Original 11"x14" Painting, Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints, & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints are available on my website Here.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She looks directly at us and has a veil attached to the ribbon in her hair.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in June.  This is day 19.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

  2. Lisa...I really do need to force myself to try to draw a face a day. I feel so inadequate. Your angel has a lovely countenance about her. A sweet look to her. Thank you for your visit and sweet words. Hope you have a nice week. genie

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
