In this original acrylic work in progress WIP big eye maiden painting I've completed her hair. It cascades around her shoulders... She is a Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead sugar skull inspired painting. The butterflies are monarch butterflies and they surround her. Next will come the butterflies... This fairy angel is an 11"x14" acrylic painting.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden. She is sweetly glancing up, perhaps she sees a butterfly... I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess. I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in September. This is day 12. She is also face 12 for the 29 faces challenge in September.
