Happy New Year! Sketch of a Bantam Rooster, January 1, Art Sketches Daily

Here is a sketch of a bantam rooster.  I didn't quite fit all of this bird once again; however in this case my focus is mainly his face, I'm planning on attempting a small portrait of him for Chinese New Year...  


I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in January.  This is day 1.  I believe it is my 335th day of consecutive sketching since February 1st, I hope to continue to challenge myself to sketch often this year...  Some days are better than others, but I very much enjoy the process. 

This is a rough sketch.
