WIP Magician's Lionhead Bunny Rabbit Art Original Painting Work in Progress + May Sketches, Sketch 26 & 26, Flapjack Octopus & Mermaid...



In this original acrylic work in progress WIP painting I've been working on the magic hat...  I didn't get a chance to do a lot of painting this week.  I am very close to finishing my Snow White painting though.  This rabbit's name is Maximillion and the reference is courtesy of his person David Reeves Payne.  I know I've painted a quite a few bunny paintings, but I love rabbits so, I think there's always room to add another member to my fluffle...

Here is a sketch of a couple of flapjack octopi.  I selected these two to refine and draw again from the four I sketched last week for some mini paintings I hope to start on soon.  One will be solo and the other octopus will be a friend to a mermaid maiden...


I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May.  This is from day 25.  

This is a rough sketch. 


Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  Her long hair is flowing down around her shoulders.  I think she is most likely a mermaid, although she could also be a goddess or a fairy angel.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
