WIP Anemone Flowers Floral Art Original Painting Work in Progress + June Sketches / Daily Sketch 2 / Angel Fairy...



In this original 8"x10" work in progress WIP oil painting of two anemone flowers, I'm a couple of layers into the background.  I need to do a couple of minor touch ups before I begin on the flowers.  I photographed my reference for these beauties at Huntington Gardens...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She also has roses in her hair, I think I just have roses on the mind.  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a goddess or a mermaid.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her...


I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in June.  This is day 2.
