Art Sketch of a Big Eye Mermaid, September 7 Daily Sketches & a Lovely Postcard...



Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  Her long hair flows wildly around her...  I think she is most likely a mermaid, although she could also be a fairy angel or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.


I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in September. This is day 7. 

I am also participating in the September 29 Faces Challenge! The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.  I may extend it out to a goal of 100 faces sketched on consecutive days...

Thanks so much to Valerie-Jael for this beautiful postcard, it arrived in perfect time to cheer me up when I wasn't feeling so well.  I love blues and purples and this card is just lovely.  If you haven't checked out her blog, her artwork is here.  She creates the most beautiful tags, journal pages, and lovely photographs too!

    Î think you have to extend your goal up to 100 faces sketched on consecutive days... All your faces are like a fairy tale and very professional, marvellous and perfect. I love your sketches and paintings above all.

    I'm sure you could extend it to 100 faces, you probably wouldn't have a problem with that. I'm sure you have probably already drawn that many this year :)
