In this original acrylic painting of a chow chow puppy dog, I'm a couple of layers deeper in her fur. I'm starting to get the colors and the fluffiness that I'm looking for with this piece but she still needs a few more layers. I've blocked in the eyes and the nose, but I'll detail them at some point in the future. The panel that I'm painting on is 5"x7"

April 18-20 Sketches
Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden. Her hair swirls wildly around her... I think she is most likely a mermaid, although she could also be a fairy angel or a goddess. I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
