Every so often, I try to get organized. As I was sorting my paintings, I came across five that needed touch ups. These four are the ones I worked on this week. They're now retouched and I will be changing how I store my paintings. I had them stacked upon each other and some sections of the paint stuck. Due to a wonderful gift of a bookshelf, I now have them upright with parchment paper between them. Touch ups can be challenging, but I'm pleased to say these ones went well and these are back to being available.
I also usually post at least one finished piece on Tuesdays if you'd like to come to visit! You also may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.
I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday. To see more participants, please visit:

May 30-June 1 Sketches
Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden. She has some ringlets cascading down... I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess. I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May. This is from day 30.
This is a rough sketch.
Here is a sketch of a cluster of daffodil flowers. They have such a sweetness to them... I'm unsure if I'll paint this sketch or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.
I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May. This is from day 31.
This is a rough sketch.

Glad you were able to retouch them just lovely as are your sketches today
ReplyDeletealways fun to see your sketches. And I am happy you were able to fix your paintings and can store them so they won't stick together! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteThe touch ups look quite nice. The big eye sketches are nice too, hope we get to see them finished
ReplyDeleteHappy you dropped by my blog today

they still might stick even with the parchment, might have to put some type of spacer between therm just in case
ReplyDeleteThe touch up paintings look lovely.

Beautiful paintings and sketches. Glad you have found a better way to store your paintings. Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the touch ups went well, it would be a shame if your lovely art was permanently damaged.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get organized too. That's great you have better storage for your paintings! I've been trying to decide whether to paint over some of my oldest. They take up a lot of space! Hooray for touch-ups. The photo is small but they look great! Really pretty fairy wings.
ReplyDeleteYour big-eyed maidens are SO sweet and charming. Your paintings are divine. But I especially loved your sketch of daffodils. :D
ReplyDeleteBom dia, seu trabalho é simplesmente perfeito e maravilhoso, todos os esboços que partilha vão resultar com beleza no final, o ultimo esboço de uma donzela de olhos grandes para o meu gosto, é o melhor.
ReplyDeleteFeliz semana,
AG
