Rough Sketch of African Emerald Cuckoo Bird for Birbfest 2025!

 


This is a rough sketch of an African Emerald Cuckoo Bird for day 17 of #birbfest2025.  It was created with a mechanical pencil, a 6B pencil, and an eraser in my sketchbook.  This birb has a concerned expression.


I know I won't complete a drawing every day for the challenge, but I intend to do a quick sketch as often as I get a chance.  After the month is through, maybe I'll pick some to create paintings with...
