Rough Sketch of Crimson Topaz Hummingbird for #Birbfest2025!

 


This is a rough sketch of a crimson topaz hummingbird for day 5 of #birbfest2025.  It was created with a mechanical pencil and an eraser in my sketchbook.  I know I won't complete a drawing every day for the challenge, but I intend to do a quick sketch as often as I get a chance.  This bird in particular has magnificent plummage and would make a great painting.  After the month is through, maybe I'll pick some to create paintings with...
