Sketch of a Big Eye Goddess, October 22, Art Sketches Daily + Show Information...

Update: I had said I was going to post when we leave for the "Day of the Dead Meets Halloween" art show at the Neutra Institute Gallery & Museum from 6 to 9, but given Alex's Go Tournament, I think it's safe to assume we'll be there towards the end...  I'll try to take some pictures while we're there.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She is wearing a veil draped accross her face, I didn't quite capture the feeling I wanted to with her, I may re sketch her just to try and improve upon my sketch of her at some point...  I think she is most likely a goddess, although she could also be a fairy angel or a mermaid.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in October.  This is day 22.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.

Thanks for visiting! I'm unable to comment on google+ sites that don't have the blog links, but I do visit. For some reason, even though I've said no to word verification, it still shows here. If you're logged in to Google or OpenID, you should still be able to post by clicking enter without filling in the word verification. I'm sorry about the glitch...
