Art Sketch of a Big Eye Princess Leia, May the 4th be With You, Daily Sketches... Happy Star Wars Day!

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She is loosely inspired by Princess Leia of Star Wars.  I doubt I'll paint her due to potential copyright issues, this Star Wars inspired sketch is for personal practice only and not for sale; but I did enjoy sketching her.  Happy Star Wars Day and May the Fourth be with you...

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May.  This is day 4.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.

  1. Beautiful, have to be so careful with copyright. I once did Snow White but didn't post to my blog.

  8. Thanks so very much Christine, Regine, Martin, Nicole, Valerie, Jennifer, Jan, and Özge! Some companies are more litigious then others when it comes to their creations, now that Disney owns the rights to Star Wars, it's probably safer not to create any for sale works inspired by them...
