My Photograph of Ranunculus Flowers at Descanso Gardens + May Sketch Art, Day 2+ 3 Sketches, Rose + Angel Fairy...



I took this photograph of these ranunculus flowers at Descanso Gardens.  These hot pink flowers have such sweet and lovely petals...  I'm not sure if they're still in bloom, but I thought they were beautiful.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

Here is a sketch of a rosebud.  It's actually my second sketch of this rose.  The first time it wasn't quite right, this time it's a little closer to how I feel it should look.  I'm unsure if I'll paint it or not, but I did enjoy sketching it. 


I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May.  This is from day 2.  

This is a rough sketch. 


Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She may be on the cusp of asking a question...  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a goddess or a mermaid.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
