Rough Sketch of Northern Potoo Bird for Birbfest 2025!

 


This is a rough sketch of a Northern Potoo for day 8 of #birbfest2025.  It was created with a mechanical pencil and an eraser in my sketchbook.  I combined two reference photos for this bird drawing.


I know I won't complete a drawing every day for the challenge, but I intend to do a quick sketch as often as I get a chance.  After the month is through, maybe I'll pick some to create paintings with...
