I took this photo at the Self Realization Center in Malibu, CA. In this photo, this swan is being touched by the light in such a way that it seems like it's glowing.

such a serene photo of a swan!
Lisa, beautiful and very peaceful!
beautiful green waters to frame that swan. :)
Such a beauty! I do not see them often, sadly, so it is nice to at least see a photo... It must be even more beautiful in real life, of course, but the picture is excellent, too.
Nice photo of the Swan
I think they are so fantastic our big swans, you never get tired of seing them. Nice photo with lovely light!
Thanks for your nice comment in my blog! I suppose you understand how magic it is when the swans come flying over our heads!
Greetings Pia in Sweden
Nice picture. Hard to believe, but our swans are black!
Thanks for linking on WBW - post more birds!

The perfect shot from a self realization center Lisa! Very tranquil.
Such a gorgeous photo! Love it.
It does look like it's glowing. :)
Thank you. I'm so happy you like this swan photo! I always feel lucky when I get a decent shot of an animal, they move a lot more than flowers do and even flowers can be challenging to photograph!
Stewart, I can definitely believe that some swans are black, I haven't seen any in person, but I have been fortunate enough to see them in photographs! I'd like to post more birds, but I'm only lucky with bird photographs some percentage of the time. The bird photographs at Wild Bird Wednesdays are so impressive!
Very pretty! The photo almost looks like a painting.
A lovely swan shot.
Very, very beautiful, a really wonderful Swan image, perfect timing~
Beautiful!! I've seen a swan at the pond near us but it didn't let me get close enough to take a picture.
Thanks so very much!
Camille, thanks. In actuality I wasn't very close to the the swan. I cropped a lot of the image that was mostly pond. It seems like I was quite a bit closer than I was...
