I was inspired by the terrifying spirit Sadako from The Ring for this piece. Titled "Onryō," my big-eye version has a haunting and chilling feel that I think captures the traditional Japanese vengeful spirit.

This 8"x10" traditional drawing is a mixed media study on 9"x12" toned black paper. I used a minimalistic approach to the lighting, which really enhances the elegance and spooky atmosphere of the art.
