I am listing "Sakura San," an original floral painting.  This is the third in my series of cherry blossoms.  They are such a delicate flower and I love their fleeting beauty.  The art has a soft realist impressionist feel...  This weekend is the cherry blossoms festival at Descanso Gardens, I am looking forward to seeing more of these lovely flowers.

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here  this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of spring cherry blossoms and sweet pea flowers...   

Most of my art is also available on my website at www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to put some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  I have been updating my website.  It's an ongoing project, but there is now an excellent selection of art available!

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  Some of her hair is flowing outwards and she is wearing a mask that elegantly covers part of her face.  If I were to paint her, I think she would be a mermaid although she could also be a fairy angel or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in March.  This is day 8.

Due to technical difficulties, I am not listing any prints this week.  Hopefully by next Tuesday, I should be able to offer prints again.  "Sakura Ni," is an original painting of some pink cherry blossoms. These lovely flowers bloom only briefly, their beauty captures me. The art has a soft realist impressionist feel...

This is the second of a small series I am working on.  I don't usually relist so quickly, but since I do not have my files available to me right now, the only ones I have available are recently listed pieces, so this one is available early at the promo start rate!

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com/; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions... I have been updating my website. I still have more to add, but there is now an excellent selection of art available; although there will be a delay on any print orders until my technical issues are resolved, originals are available to ship!

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  I think her smile lights up any room, even when lit with candle light...  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or goddess.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  I'm not sure what went wrong with my computer, but I've bought a new used one that Alex is working on today...

She is face 22 for 29 faces in September. The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.

"Sakura Ni" is one of my floral paintings.  It is the second in my series of cherry blossom paintings.  Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite flowers.  I love to look up at the trees and am inspired by their beauty.  They bloom only briefly, but I hope I have captured these spring flowers for a good while longer.  This piece is available as an original, as prints, and Limited Edition ACEOs!

This is the second of my cherry blossom paintings, I hope to have the first one up on my website on Friday.  I made a slight change to it that I think gives it a more delicate feel, I'll post the new image here when I do get it up.

Here is a work in progress view of my second 5"x7" original cherry blossoms painting.  In this wip, most of the shading is done, but I still need to complete the stamens and pistils.  I hope to have this completed for Tuesday...
