Here is the second image of my sunflower painting Sunlight Sunbright.
This week I read Bloggers Boot Camp by Charlie White and John Biggs: learning how to build, write, and run a successful blog. If you are looking into going into blogging as a professional, journalistic endeavor, this could be a very helpful and useful book. If you are looking to improve your blog in general, while it has some helpful nuggets, this book might be best checked out from a library.
My biggest take away from the book is their suggestion for consistent blogging Monday through Friday. I don't expect I'll manage that weekly, sometimes I'm too engrossed in my paintings to come up for air much, but I will make the attempt to blog more consistently. Some of the time that is... Other times I may fall off the face of the earth in a haze of art creation, only to return when the fires burn less hot.

tnx for a review! :) I love that about blogosphere ... that you can get honest opinions about anything. Although I don't like most of the sponsored reviews that are praising products too much - how can you consider them seriously then?
Hi Lisa! I loved seeing your sunflower in progress, I'm looking forward to seeing the next one! It's tricky to post M-F, I try to post 1-2 x per week. Sometimes it's tricky trying to get it all rolling, I'm sure it would help to have a routine to keep it all consistent.
Anyhoo...have a super, great weekend!
Kajira, thanks and you're welcome :). I agree about the sponsored reviews, it can be hard to get an honest feel for a product from something that's more of an advertisement then a review...
Hi Jo-Ann, thank you so much! I'm almost 100% certain that there's no way I'll consistently post M-F... I think 1-2 times is much more reasonable. You're definitely right that it's tricky to get it rolling and also that a steady routine might help, but that's definitely out of my range of expertise... Anyway, thanks again and I hope you have a terrific weekend as well!
