Here is another work in progress view of my iris fairy maiden "Iris Dream." Acrylics dry so quickly that I tend to work one section at a time so that I can do some blending. Sometimes I do come back though as the painting gets further along to add more.

She is a beauty
each moment more precious than the previous, wow
she's so magical already.Looking forward to seeing the finished painting!
your fairy is looking wonderful!
there is a medium that can be added to acrylic so that it does not dry quite as fast.... can't think of what it is called. I have it at home, but i am not there at the moment.
Thanks so very much for your kind words about my fairy maiden!
Tammie, I both love and hate that acrylics dry so quickly, I sometimes work by blending at the time I'm working and sometimes by layers of paint, it just depends. I'll hop on over to your blog at another point and ask about your medium, I know they're out there, but I haven't tried them.
She is wonderfully enchanting..such an ethereal energy and strong spirit about her..gorgeous eyes..lovely soul! Always magical visiting your realm!
