I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens some time ago. I love butterflies, I followed this one around as it flit from flower to flower... This was one of my favorite shots, I might like to paint it some day. I find capturing a butterfly on camera can be quite a challenge. I'm so glad that with digital cameras I can take as many shots as I'd like without worrying about the blurry ones! I'm going to Descanso Gardens tomorrow with a friend, I'll have to try to be a bit more reserved about picture taking than I usually am so that she has a better opportunity to enjoy the gardens... I hope that you will enjoy this photo!
