Here is a work in progress view of my 5"x7" original cherry blossoms painting. The flowers have soft pink and white petals, I'd like to give them some lights and shadows and then I will paint their cores. I think they're coming along nicely in this WIP, but I'm still a ways away from being done...

Here is a sketch of a big eye maiden. She has a slight tilt and seems like she has a positive attitude. I think she's most likely a fairy; but she could be a mermaid or an angel or some other fantasy being. I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her. I'm still searching for the right face for my next mermaid painting...

Your cherry blossms is beautiful, looking forwrd to see the final touch. And that sketch; I like the full bottom lip. What I call African lips :) but the look a bit wild for an angel. So a mermaid will be just fine *winks*

The cherry blossoms are beautiful--I can hardly wait to see them done. My sketchbook is filled with works in progress...sometimes I add to them for years. (grin) I also loved your mermaid face. She is quite lovely.
