Art Sketch of a Big Eye Gothic Angel Fairy for a Wooden Plank...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  I've made some slight changes since you've seen her last.  I think this is pretty much the sketch I am going with for this fairy angel, although I intend to finesse the hair a bit.  I've drawn a couple of the flowers that I will have in her hair to the right, they will be very tiny though.  It's easier for me to sketch at a size that's comfortable to me and then resize the sketch in photoshop to the size I want the art to be.

I believe the flowers are based on strawberry flowers that I photographed in the Descanso Gardens gift shop when they were in season...  I'm planning to transfer her to a plank of wood and paint her there, but with the wooden planks I wire them first because I worry that I'll get the painting completely finished and then split the wood.  It's very thick wood, but I feel better if I do that first...

I am inspired by those tiny little flowers...  I am linking this post with Inspire Me Monday

Thanks so much Christine and Jennifer! The wire will be on the back of the wood, I use little screws. If I remember, I'll post a photo of the back.
