Original Big Eye Gothic Latina Fairy Angel Painting + Art Prints & ACEO Prints! January Sketches...

"Estrella" Original Framed 6"x6.5" Painting here

This week my featured painting is "Estrella".  This Latina fairy angel has large brown eyes and purple streaks in her hair, her name means star. The original is framed! The colors are a little washed out in the framed photograph, I have a scan of the art that's more true to actual colors in the link. The art has a lowbrow surreal feel The original big eye gothic angel fairy painting is available for purchase on my website as are art prints and LE ACEO prints!

Most of my art is also available on my website at lisarusso.com; however, on the first Tuesday of the month, I like to put some art prints and LE ACEO prints on ebay at a lower promotional rate for the duration of the auctions...  This month, my theme is Chinese Zodiac animals (although a Western dragon has sneaked in), you may see them here.

=============================================

Here is a sketch of a snapdragon.  They are the sweetest little flowers, as a child I was quite enraptured by them.  I'm unsure if I'll paint it or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in January.  This is day 10.

This is a rough sketch.

Great sketch, and I love the painting of the beautiful Estrella. I had a great Aunt called Estrella, but she was mostly just called Ella. Hugs, Valerie

Estrella looks beautiful.
Snapdragon sketch looks good, I wonder what colour you may choose should you give it colour?

All the best Jan

Thank you most kindly Valerie-Jael, Jennifer, Martin, Christine, and Jan! I'm not sure what colors I would use, perhaps a red with yellow, but I'm really not sure...

Yes, I think red with yellow would look nice for a snap dragon!

All the best Jan
