This is a rough sketch of a black headed gull bird for day 30 of #birbfest2025. It was created with a mechanical pencil, a 6B pencil, and an eraser in my sketchbook. In reality, the birb is probably preparing to take flight, but I like to imagine it is stomping frumpily.
I haven't completed a drawing every day for the challenge, but I've done a quick sketch as often as I had a chance. I plan on creating some paintings from a selection of these birbs in the coming year...
