Original Big Eye Goddess Hera Juno Painting + Art Prints & ACEO Prints! July 14-17 Sketches...

"Lost and Found" Original 16"x20" Painting on Canvas Here

This week my featured painting is "Lost and Found".  Hera (also known to the Romans as Juno) is the Greek goddess of marriage and the family and is part of my goddess series.  This is a piece from a while back, I am currently working on the sketches for a new Hera painting.  This original surreal lowbrow goddess painting is available on my website as are art prints and LE ACEO prints!

Most of my art is also available on my website at lisarusso.com; however, on the first Tuesday of the month, I like to put some art prints and LE ACEO prints on ebay at a lower promotional rate for the duration of the auctions...  This month, my theme is myths and fairytales, you may see them here.

July 14-17 Sketches

Here is a sketch of an orchid.  I loved the delicacy of this flower's lines in this side view...  I'm unsure if I'll paint this sketch or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in July.  This is from day 14.

This is a rough sketch.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She has a sweet demeanor...  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in July. This is from day 15.

This is a rough sketch.

Here is a sketch of an anthurium.  I love how this flower has a heart shaped quality...  I'm unsure if I'll paint this sketch or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in July.  This is from day 16.

This is a rough sketch.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  I may develop her further into a Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead piece with marigolds instead of roses in her hair...  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

Lost and Found, My Original Big Eye Fairy Angel Goddess Hera Juno Art Painting, Now Up on My Website...

"Lost and Found" Original 16"x20" Painting, Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

"Lost and Found" is a one of my large fantasy paintings.  She is inspired by the Greek goddess Hera (also known to the Romans as Juno).  Her big eyes are brown, she is wearing a fairy angel disguise and a mask as she visits our realm.  Her dress is adorned with a peacock feather and she stands near pink calla lilies.  This art has a lowbrow surreal feel and the original has accents of copper hues in her hair.  This piece is available as an original, as prints, and Limited Edition ACEOs!

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!
